Background Information

I am a proud 2002 graduate of the College of William and Mary, Williamsburg, VA where I majored in Economics and minored in French. As a Sierra Leonean who grew up in Nigeria, (12 years in total) I'm about to embark on a career as an advocate for peace, social, and economic justice around the globe. While at William and Mary, I gave a number of talks on the documentary "Cry Freetown" which highlights the worst of the devastation rendered on Sierra Leone's capital by the Revolutionary United Front (RUF) the week of January 6th, 1999. As president of the African Culture Society (ACS)I worked with the members to continue raising awareness on the campus about African culture and socio-economic issues.
