Warren Kaplan received his Ph.D at Boston University and spent a decade at Harvard's Center for Earth and Planetary Sciences studying global climate change, oceanography and South American rainforest ecology. He has published widely in these areas. He received his law degree from at Suffolk University (night) where he was Articles Editor of the Law Review. He practiced intellectual property law in private practice and as Assistant General Counsel for IP at Biogen, Inc. where he sheparded Biogen's anti-psoriatic drug Amevive tm through its IP minefield. He received his MPH in International Health from the Boston University School of Public Health in May 2002 and is currently lecturing at the Boston University Law School. His interests lie at the intersection of pharmaceutical policy, intellectual property and business/licensing law.
