This workshop is hosted by the Transatlantic Consumer's Dialogue(TACD) Intellectual Property Committee and will be held at the Ford Foundation in New York City on April 5, 2004 with support from the Rockefeller Foundation. The Trans Atlantic Consumer Dialogue (TACD), is an association of 65 consumer organizations from the European Union (EU) and the United States (US) which develops and advocates joint consumer policy recommendations to the US government and European Union to promote the consumer interest in EU and US policy making. This meeting will focus on the relationship between intellectual property rules and access to a broad range of essential education and learning tools.
